Welcome back, foodies!
I've got a great recipe for you today. The residents of the Downs and the surrounding areas are familiar with the recipe today, but I think it's a good one for all you humans out there. It's closer to your type of kuisine, I think.
Tea is not one of my favorite things, but I used to enjoy a cup or two with my Grandmam during wintertime visits. Alright, let's get cooking.
Garlic Tea
Ingredients
1 jug of water
2 cloves of Garlic
Heat the water until steaming. Drop your cloves of garlic in and let it go until the water is boiling. Pour into your cup. Keep the garlic cloves in your tea to make it stronger or you can just suck on them. Warning: you will have very bad breath.
To sweeten your tea, you can add a handful of sweet grass. To give it a bit of zing, you can squash and drop in a few junberries.
Sweet Biscuits
Ingredients
1 large bowl of fat & grease
*If you just roasted a Bendel Boar the night before, the fat and grease will be fresher and tastier for the sweet biscuits.
2 large spoonfuls of honey
The fresher honey, the better. (*Do not stick your hand in a beehive, unless you're an experienced troll.)
1 sweet potato
You can dig the potatoes up right before adding to your mixture.
Do not wash off. The dirt adds a bit of texture.
1 salted melon
Merrihaven has a salted melon tree. Ask permission from the Cragmore sisters before picking.
2 handfuls of dates
*Be careful. The only date tree I know of is the one by the Keepums cave.
It's best to visit the tree at night after the Snaggits have left to hunt for treasure. The Snaggits and Keepums hate each other, but they will come together to protect that date tree.
2 large chunks of chocolate
You can find the chocolate anywhere in Grimhold, but the tastiest chocolate comes from the Sugar Shack at the far end of the marketplace. It's run by a bunch of witch sisters. Tell them Knoxby sent you. They're kind of sweet on me and will give you a good deal.
*If you like your biscuits spicy, add a peppered pomegranate
*If you like your biscuits sweeter, add more dates.
Now, you're like me and want your biscuits to have a bit mre punch, you can add an onion. It's an odd savory and sweet combo. Grandmam used to add one slimed onion just for me.
Through all your ingredients into a bowl and mix. Separate into small balls and press down with your finger. Bake for forty-five minutes. I like mine a bit hard.
That's it, my little foodies. Until next time...
(*Knoxby's recipes are not real. Children should not use fire, the stove or
other appliances or sharp objects without parental supervision.)
