I have heard that within a family of 3 or more children, the middle child or children are usually the odd ones out.
I think it could be the oldest, don't you? It was in my case. My siblings got along famously and I just never fit in with them. I turned to books instead. There wasn't one particular genre that I stuck with. I bounced around from one genre to the other, but oh man, how I loved cracking open the covers and seeing where the story would take me.
It's still that way as an adult. I'd love to have my own personal little library. Could you imagine how peaceful it would be in there? I'd actually make it into a reading & writing space. LOL, it's a good thing my books are on my Nook, because I'd probably drive my husband and kids crazy.
My sister inlaw kindly mentioned my book series to the neighbor next door. (Thank you, D. xoxox Really appreciate it.) He has a daughter about the age when I first started falling in love with books. She bought and read my first book in the Max Hamby series and loved it. She let me know what she thought and that was pretty cool and appreciated.
The excitement of a new book, a new world and meeting the author, well, it was like looking back on myself at her age. It was such a weird, yet good feeling. She was so happy, which made me happy. She even had me sign her copy of Max Hamby and the Blood Diamond. My very first autograph and I will remember that moment forever.
Since then, she's moved on to the second book and I think, the third. Her happiness and excitement inspire me to create/write more.
Anyway, Good Morning! my friends. May the day be good to you.
Sending #positivevibes your way. Many blessings to you and yours.
