Happy Monday!
I hope the day and the week ahead are good to you.
I was going through my pile of ideas written down for possible future stories when I came across another little gem about pixies. I swear, with all the little pieces I have written down, I should just compile them into a book. Hmmm. Light bulb. lol. A little personal project perhaps to take the mind off all craziness of 2020. It could be a good goal to set before the end of the year. I have a long running list of ideas and this one will fit nicely.
My vision for the year was completely different, as I am sure it was for you, too.
Have a wonderful day, my friends.
Should you find yourself needing an escape, the Max Hamby series is just that. The series is filled with magic, adventure and plenty of twists and turns along the way.

Pixies
The Merrihaven pixies are unlike any pixies you have ever met before.
On one hand, their loyalty runs deep. Stories are passed down from generation to generation. Those stories are what have kept the pixies at Merrihaven loyal to the Cragmores. Of course, Esther and Griselda have had their tricks through the years to keep the little creatures happy; a little honey, a velvety pillow or a satiny piece of ribbon works a charm.
On the other hand, the pixies are prone to laziness, quite spoiled and see nothing wrong with throwing a fit. If one is in a sour mood, they're all in a sour mood. If you have mistreated a pixie, even by accident, it is best to close and lock all windows and doors. The pixies will wait until you are sleeping, then pinch you so hard it will leave a mark. The Cragmore sisters take turns dealing with the pixies.
One morning, before the sun had risen over the horizon and after an especially busy night, Esther groggily shuffled into the garden with a spoonful of honey. Unfortunately, she mixed up two sets of twins. She gave the first set of twins the honey and shuffled back to bed. That afternoon, Griselda appeared in the garden with a spoonful of honey and gave it to the same twins that Esther did. The second pair of twins were fuming mad and that night, the Cragmore sisters were pinched until they were purple. They never mixed up the pixies again.
