Happy Tuesday! It's been a while since we've visited the creatures in the Max Hamby series.
I thought it would be fun to revisit the Lumprotter. If you don't know what a Lumprotter is, read on.

Lumprotters do not move very fast, if they move at all.
This creature enjoys eating and sitting. It's a very large pest. Anything it comes in contact with rots, decays and or withers away.
Despite his unfortunate ability, he is a happy-go-lucky creature. You will always recognize a Lumprotter by its appearance. It is very fat and has a short reach, as its arms (and legs) are so small. It has wrinkly pink skin with two wing-like ears. You could assume the wings are merely decoration due to the size of the Lumprotter's body and you'd be right. The wings would never be able to lift the creature off the ground.
The Lumprotter can see quite far during the day or in the dark of night. His eyes are small beads of black. Midnight shadows and or the glaring sun does not bother him. His big bulbous nose has a tremendous sense of smell and its range goes for miles.
You will always find a Lumprotter talking to himself. He is his own best company. One might be afraid of the Lumprotter's wide mouth which has one large tooth on top and two small fangs at each corner on the bottom. But, no worries. The Lumprotter does not eat people.............usually. Humans give him terrible indigestion.
Lumprotters like to stick to the deepest part of the forest and normally remain in one spot. You can recognize its home by a large circular, rotted area.
Do not get close to a Lumprotter! It will only take a short time before YOU begin to rot and decay.
But, feel free to remain at a safe distance and have a conversation with him. Lumprotters love visitors and love to talk. Be forewarned, though....the Lumprotter will run on about nothing imparticular and then repeat the conversation all over again.
He is easily distracted and although he loves to talk, you will find it extremely difficult to get him to answer questions. Go ahead. Give it a try.
Female Lumprotters are extremely rare.
Facts:
1. A Lumprotter would not hurt a wizard. Unless of course, the wizard is carrying a fluffy Persian cat with a spiked collar. Lumprotters are not fond of collars.
2. Lumprotters adore fairies for their wings and sparkly magic. Fairies, on the other hand, do not care for Lumprotters. They think they're gross.
